I grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I graduated with a BS Degree in 1980. I then played four years in the NFL as a linebacker with the Miami Dolphins. I was one of the tri-captains in the 1982 Super Bowl. A knee injury ended my career in 1983. I then went to graduate school at The University of Miami and received my MBA.
I worked on Wall Street as an institutional fixed-income salesperson for five years. From 1991 thru 1993 I sold residential real estate in the Fullerton, CA. area. In my first year with my partner, we closed 53 transactions. In my second year we were on pace to sell 100 homes when I came up with the idea to create a coaching program which marked the beginning of my real estate coaching career in 1993.
In 2007 I was one of the founding partners of Teles Properties. I helped the company open four offices in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Newport Beach and Pasadena before leaving in 2012. I am married.
My wife Katerina and I have two daughters and we live in Brentwood, CA.

Jonathan Lack has been the President & COO of the Sally Forster Jones Group based in Los Angeles since July 2021 and a Strategic Planning & Marketing Advisor for the Carey Hagglund Condy Team based on Marin County since 2018. Jonathan has consulted with several real estate teams across the country helping them develop a strategic approach to running their practices.

Jonathan is also trained in conflict resolution having worked in an Israeli-Palestinian cooperative project in the Middle East for two years. Jonathan earned an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, a Master's in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University's School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Middle East Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.
